Jonathan's Birthday Party - Part Two

Jonathan wasn't overly animated about the birthday cake, but he seemed interested in the candles. My sister commented that she didn't know how he managed to blow them out, but he did. Both of them.


The presents were overwhelming to the little guy. He opened the first one and wanted to be done. Clarification: his friend, Lauren, opened the first one for him. He didn't want to do it, and he said, "Lauren open present." So, she gladly opened it for him (the middle photo is of Lauren opening the gift). He wanted to play with it and didn't seem enthused about opening any more. So, we opened two for him and saved the other one for later.

The one we saved for later is pictured in the last photo. Carla, Nate and Jacob gave Jonathan a tool set, a book about tools, and these "safety goggles" for when he "helps" Daddy with projects. We laughed so hard as he walked around with his hammer and these goggles on his head! What a silly kid.
