Katherine and Valerie, friends from before we moved came to visit on Tuesday afternoon/evening. Katherine's daughter is 4 months old and Valerie's daughter is 10 months old. We all went to the zoo. The penguins were the highlight of the zoo experience. Jonathan flaps his arms and waves when he is really excited, and the penguins elicited a vigorous response from the boy ~ Here's a photo of us at the penguin exhibit.
Jamie and Jonathan are having a great time at the park. My husband is trying to teach Jonathan to climb?!?! I contend that he will learn that trick quickly enough.
My mother came on Wednesday to visit for a few days. We enjoyed time outside, some perusing of the toy store merchandise, leisurely play time... Jonathan loves his "Grammie". Mom loves to teach Jonathan things, so reading high on her list of quality activities. Jonathan is a very interactive pupil.
Another week had passed, and Jonathan will be one year old in two weeks!!! It seems hard to believe.
