Paint is a favorite around here. Caleb experiences the paint with all of his senses: sight, taste, touch, smell... even hearing. He tried to put some in his ear, but I got a little nervous about that and wiped it out. Yes, this did require a bath.
Better question: what kind of a mother WOULDN'T allow this?!?! Pretty sure there's a post just like this one on our blog from two summers ago...except it includes photos of me taking Josiah outside to blast him with the garden hose to clean it all off. :-) All for the sake of art, right?
