Happy Easter

Trying to explain the true meaning of Easter to a two year is not easy. We ended up telling him that we were celebrating Jesus' life. The cross is complex for adults, let alone children. Christmas was much easier: Jesus' birthday. All that aside: we enjoyed a wonderful weekend with my parents. As I mentioned before, I had the chance to golf with my dad. It was great to have a break and be able to enjoy the great weather.

Mom and Jamie orchestrated the Easter Egg Hunt with our neighbors. All four kids had a great time and gathered a bit of loot.

Sunday was busy with church, brunch, dinner with friends, and church in the evening. I was reminded about how blessed we are to have found our current church and been able to be a part of its beginning. We attended a different church in the morning for Easter and it was fine, but it didn't cause me to think much about the cross and the resurrection. Just makes me very glad to be a part of our church.

Caleb looks like he is getting so big! Love the photos of J & J in KC! Lastly, I have NO idea how you do it with both boys, I highly doubt I would have all bases covered :) xo
